Extended long distance relationships do not work. keeping in contact with someone via internet/phone is nowhere near as substantial as regular companionship. Long distance relationships are doomed to fail. you do not fit into each other lives, you both walk in completely different worlds with different surroundings and people. you do not co exist, you just occasionally talk. that is not a relationship. that is not the hug you need at the end of a bad day. that is not the support you need when times get hard. It is not the love you invest in, the trust you give yourself to.
it is not a real relationship.
anyone who thinks otherwise has either never had a real relationship or is kidding themselves.
